Bronwyn started nursing in 1987 at Brookfield Veterinary Surgery, graduating with a certificate of Veterinary Nursing in 1990. She travelled overseas and worked in the United Kingdom as a veterinary nurse. She couldn’t stay away from Brookfield Veterinary Surgery, or the boss, who she married in 1998!
When she is not at the surgery, Bronwyn spends her time with her 3 boys, and enjoys cooking, gardening and drinking good wine.

Julie Rodger

Cert III in Dog Behaviour & Training
Cert IV Practice Management
Julie started veterinary nursing in Hervey Bay in 1997, and has been with us since 2003. She is happily owned by 3 cats, 2 dogs and 3 rats, is a registered wildlife carer with The Gap Wildlife Care and is often a foster carer to a variety of wildlife and strays that find their way to our surgery.
She has a special interest in animal behaviour and training, and really enjoys working with our puppies and their owners in Puppy Preschool. She runs companion dog training classes, Family Dog Fun & Training, with dog training groups held here at the surgery on Sundays, and private consultations and training sessions by appointment.

Rebecca Cox
Certificate II Veterinary Nurse
Rebecca has been with the Brookifield Veterinary Surgery since December 2007, and is in the early days of her studies to become a certified Veterinary Nurse. Bec enjoys all facets of her work, and certainly has a soft spot for our patients! She comes to us with lots of experience with kids' camps and education programs, and is looking forward to being actively involved in our Puppy Preschool, PetPEP and Dental care for your pets.

Kellie Schwarz

Our newest recruit! Many of you may know Kellie from "The Pet Chalet" where she has worked for the past few years. She originally came from Bundaberg, starting out as a Vet Nurse along the coast before moving to Brisbane in 2006 to pursue her love of animals! She quickly became a fan of Brookfield and is now excited to finally be working towards obtaining her qualifications in Vet Nursing here with us. Kellie is becomming popular with her doggy haircuts, and having Miss Tammy as her tutor makes every dogs day!
When Kellie's not house-sitting our client's furry friends she enjoys volunteering at The Australia Zoo, a good cuppa tea and Poptarts!
